AUKUS Three Years On Panel Discussion

Description:

AUKUS Three Years On : Security & Defence PLuS Panel Discussion

As AUKUS approaches its third anniversary, how is it affecting the strategic policies of its member nations? Considering the balance of issues across the Indo-Pacific and European domains, as well as the interests of all three countries, is AUKUS 'fit-for-purpose' in its current state?

We are hosting a special Security & Defence PLuS event at King’s College London, Strand Campus, on June 20, to explore these critical questions with academic and industry perspectives from Australia and the UK. The event will begin at 1630 in the Old Committee Room with a panel discussion titled "AUKUS Three Years On." This will be followed by an open floor Q&A session and a drinks reception. Speakers:
  • Brig (R’td) Dr Ian Langford, Executive Director, Security & Defence PLuS
  • Dr Hugo Rosemont, Director of Policy and Public Affairs at the Government Solutions International Business, KBR
  • Professor Wyn Bowen, Professor of Non-Proliferation and International Security, Department of War Studies, and Co-Director of the Freeman Air & Space Institute, King’s College London
  • Dr Nicola Leveringhaus, Senior Lecturer Department of War Studies, King’s College London (Moderator)

Location:

Old Committee Room, Strand Campus, King’s College London
