From semiconductor supply chains to election security, great power rivalry to energy resilience, the 2025 Security & Defence PLuS Seed Grant projects span the full spectrum of today’s most urgent security and defence challenges.
Delivered through bilateral and trilateral collaborations between Arizona State University, King’s College London, and the University of New South Wales, these eight projects combine technical innovation, policy insight, and international expertise to produce practical, real-world impact for AUKUS partners and allies.
Our seed grant video series brings you inside each collaboration, as the lead researchers explain what they’re working on, why it matters, and how cross-border research strengthens collective security.
