Launching the MA in International Security & Policy

16 April, 2026

Security & Defence PLuS is pleased to announce the launch of the MA in International Security & Policy, our first fully online postgraduate programme, delivered through the strategic partnership between King’s College London, Arizona State University, and the University of New South Wales.

Cyber threats, geopolitical tensions, climate risk and the rapid evolution of technology all contribute to a complex and volatile security landscape. As these issues multiply and diversify, there’s a growing demand for professionals who can identify risks and deliver effective, evidence-based solutions across government and industry.

The International Security and Policy MA (online) is designed to meet this urgent need, equipping students with the leadership and analytical skills needed to shape security policy at the highest levels. Students will explore both traditional and emerging security threats in areas like military strategy, intelligence, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, climate risk and transnational migration.

Delivered 100% online, the programme enables students to balance study with professional and personal commitments, while engaging with a globally distributed academic experience. Students will be enrolled at King’s College London and benefit from modules delivered across all three partner institutions.

Applications are now open for the September 2026 intake (with additional intakes in January and May 2027). The programme marks a significant milestone for Security & Defence PLuS. Please follow the link to learn more and apply.
