Admiral James Stavridis was the 16th Supreme Allied Commander at NATO and spent over half his seagoing career in the western Pacific. He was 12th Dean of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and is currently Vice Chair, Global Affairs at The Carlyle Group and Chair of the Board of the Rockefeller Foundation. He holds a PhD in international relations from Tufts, and is the author of twelve books including the NYT bestselling novel, “2034: A Novel of the Next World War.”
